Hey there! I'm Lauren Hooker, designer and founder of Elle & Company, a blogging, business, and design resource for creative entrepreneurs. My love of design led me to a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Virginia Tech in 2012 and after a couple years of freelance work, I did what I said I would never do and started a full-time business in 2014. I've learned that many creative business owners don't originally set out to start a business; it usually stems from a lifelong passion. My mission is to teach other entrepreneurs the fundamentals of business, blogging, and design in order for them to make their lifelong passion into a successful, profitable business. I can't wait to meet you!
